Yoga, meditation, dance.
The Dancing Elephant invites you to our friendly and relaxed community center in the heart of downtown Rockland, Maine. We offer yoga and meditation classes for all levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced student, you’ll find a practice that’s right for you. Our inspiring teachers are delighted to offer you space to practice, learn, and grow. We are committed to making our programs accessible to everyone. All classes are by donation.
The Dancing Elephant is also home to Rockland Shambhala, a growing and thriving Buddhist meditation community, as well as Refuge Recovery, a peer-led recovery group founded on the Buddhist path of awakening.
In addition to classes at the studio, we have worked in partnership with the Hospitality House, local libraries, the Zenith program, RSU #13, and Coastal Opportunities to bring yoga and meditation to the community.
Yoga is a way of life. Live it.
"I can't think of a more perfect space for this community. Great teachers, great classes." Melanie, student
